Last Saturday, I went out to dinner with members of the experiment. It was hard to make friends because of this situation, but over dinner we talked about ourselves, our classes, and our future, and I felt like I was able to become intimate with new people for the first time since I entered school. It's not easy in this situation, but I would like to go on a trip with them someday.
Impressions of watching The Shawshank Redemption
Today I talked about impressions of a movie called The Shawshank Redemption. A brief description of the film is the protagonist, who is a brilliant young banker, is sentenced to life in prison for the shooting deaths of his wife and mistress, but in the truth, he was innocent. That's why, at first, he could not get used to prison, but through the relationships in there, he becomes determined to survive and not gives up hope. The film of impressive point is delicate psychological description, f or example, there is a prisoner who has lived in the prison for more than 50 years and is later released on parole, but he can't adjust to the outside and wants to go back to the prison, but he doesn't have the courage to commit the crime again, so he sadly commits suicide. He was a familiar face in the prison as a bookkeeper, but when he go out into the outside world, he can't find his place in the world and can't bear the loneliness. ...
I think if we can take normal in-person classes, we can contact with each other...
