Last Saturday, I went out to dinner with members of the experiment. It was hard to make friends because of this situation, but over dinner we talked about ourselves, our classes, and our future, and I felt like I was able to become intimate with new people for the first time since I entered school. It's not easy in this situation, but I would like to go on a trip with them someday.

      Me too, and I think if club activities restart in earnest, we can contact with various people including seniors.

Impressions of watching The Shawshank Redemption

     Today I talked about impressions of a movie called The Shawshank Redemption. A brief description of the film is the protagonist, who is a brilliant young banker, is sentenced to life in prison for the shooting deaths of his wife and mistress, but in the truth, he was innocent. That's why, at first, he could not get used to prison, but through the relationships in there, he becomes determined to survive and not gives up hope.      The film of impressive point  is delicate psychological description, f or example, there is a prisoner who has lived in the prison for more than 50 years and is later released on parole, but he can't adjust to the outside and wants to go back to the prison, but he doesn't have the courage to commit the crime again, so he sadly commits suicide. He was a familiar face in the prison as a bookkeeper, but when he go out into the outside world, he can't find his place in the world and can't bear the loneliness.  ...

Thoughts on reading Pandemic written by Yuval Noah Harari

    Today I will talk about ''PANDEMIC'' written by Yuval Noah Harari, who is a historian and author of such famous book as ''Homodeus'' and ''Sapiens: A brief History of Humankind''. This book describes his views on how humanity should confront the coronavirus crisis and what changes will emerge in the world afterward. There are two things in this book that particularly impressed me .     First, he strongly said that globalization is key to solve this Problem. Globalization has been seen as a part of the cause of Coronavirus pandemic, and people often claim that de-globalization is only right plan to make this situation better. However, he said that such pandemics has occurred since long before globalization, and if anything, global cooperation has minimized the damage of epidemics like AIDS and Ebola in recent years.      Today I'm going to recommend one of my favorite anime, Steins;Gate. The short explanation of this anime is that it uses a time machine of sorts to move through world lines and open up the peaceful future. There are two things that I think make this anime great.     First, it's based on real-world time machine theory.  The theories of time machines and world lines in this anime are based on the theories of a self-proclaimed time traveler who appeared online in the United States in 2000 named John Titor, and the theoretical aspects of time machines are explained in more detail than other works relating to time machine.     The second is elaborate foreshadowing collection.
